Umphrey’s McGee made a stop at the Fillmore Detroit Saturday night as the snow, once again, invaded the Metro City. Fans coming from as far as Georgia scooted in early to see the openers, Orchard Lounge, as well as to avoid the frigid temps. College kids soon swarmed the venue to check out the iconic jam band, which definately didn’t dissapoint as Umphrey’s McGee played until midnight! Though the show went late, the diehard Umphrey’s fans wouldn’t have had it any other way.

Winter Mix 2010-2011 aka Ron Burgundy’s Life In Song
I love to make myself a mix of tunes I really like and burn them to listen to in the car or in a playlist on the computer, though I’m not sure that I’ll be burning this too many times as it’s 4 1/2 hours long. I must say though, if broken up into 3 or 4 discs I think they would each stand on their own as a good mix. I also like to add some comedy tracks and little special tracks to make the mixes a little more exciting, so you’ll see those along the way.
